She gone errupt some time soon

I tried to climb Mt Merapi Java last year. About 2.8km from summit the overgrown track completely disappeared. I got badly scratched up, Made it 2km from summit. Was pretty scary due to its volatility.

it's really amazing, everybody following was expecting this. Today? Tomorrow? Next week?? And then mother earth says "hello, here I am again"

Awesome! We climbed Dukono in August 2022, crazy experience! We had shitty weather with pouring rain at day one and heavy winds in the night when we went up to the crater rim blowing ash plumbs into our faces 😅 Didn’t manage to capture great shots because of the changing wind, but still it was a surreal experience! Halmahera great island 😍 we loved it there! From when is the footage? From what i heard Dukono is very active now and it’s not allowed to go up anymore.

Stunning! Just goes to show how useful drones are for capturing footage of volcanic eruptions, since the pilot doesn’t have to risk their own life to get the most dramatic shots.

Is this not the same island that numerous tourists were caught on the island during a surprise eruption? Many were severely burnt.

A word of advice. You need another piece of equipment...car floor mats. The carpet ones work best. They can be put under your tires to get unstuck. Back vehicle up, put them under the front of tires, drive on them then pick them up. They compress any soil, sand, mud, snow and mush which is especially good driving back out
